Privacy notice

This notice explains what personal information ST3 Interview collects, why, and what you can do about it. If you have any questions, email info@st3interview.com.
What we collect
- Your name, email address and password. Your password is stored only as a salted, slow cryptographic hash; nobody at ST3 Interview can read it.
- Your purchases: what you bought, when, and how much you paid. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach us.
- Your progress in the question bank — topics you have completed and how you rated your answers — so you can pick up where you left off.
- Sign-in records: when you signed in, from which network and device, kept for security.
- Emails you send us.
Why we use it
To provide what you paid for (performance of a contract), to keep accounts secure (our legitimate interest), and to meet our legal obligations such as keeping financial records.
Who else handles it
- Stripe — takes card payments.
- Cloudflare — hosts this website and stores account data.
- Resend — delivers password-reset and order emails.
- Vimeo — plays the videos in the question bank, in its do-not-track mode.
When you choose a password, its first five hash characters are checked against the Have I Been Pwned breach database so we can warn you off passwords that have leaked; the password itself never leaves our systems.
We do not sell your data, show adverts, or use advertising trackers. The site sets one cookie, only when you log in, to keep you logged in, and your browser remembers the last topic you opened.
How long we keep it
Account and progress data for as long as your account is active and two years after your access ends. Purchase records for six years, as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing info@st3interview.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
