How the question bank works
Each topic starts with a clinical scenario and one minute to read it, as in the interview. The examiner’s questions follow one at a time, each with a model answer written by candidates who ranked at the top.

One-to-one, 2022–23
Many candidates are good enough to be orthopaedic registrars and still don’t get the job — they don’t tackle the interview well, or they are simply unlucky. We share the approaches that worked for us.
Sam Nahas is a consultant knee surgeon in Reading and Head of Orthopaedics teaching at Brunel University. Sam founded ST3 Interview with Ash Kalraiya in 2015, after the two of them took the number-one national ST3 interview rank and a top-25 place between them.
How long do I have access to the question bank?
Six months from the day you buy, which covers the whole application and interview season.
Are the course day and one-to-ones online?
Yes. Interviews are held online, so we teach and run mock interviews online too — the closest practice to the real thing.
I bought the ST3 Special. Do I need to buy the question bank separately?
No. The ST3 Special already includes the question bank and the course day.
Can I pay by bank transfer?
